Approximately one month ago today Cecil the lion was killed by a miscreant, Dr. Walter James Palmer and US dentist. Back in Aril Dr. Jan Seski another reprobate murdered another collared and protected lion. This serial killings must end. As lions, tigers, polar bears, giraffes, hippos, rhino’s and a plethora of other stunning animals are being slaughtered everyday just because wealthy, evil humans such as; Jimmy John Liatude, Rebecca Francis, Sabrina Corgatelli, Dr. Jan Seski, and of course Dr. Walter Palmer are just a few of the trophy hunting mass murderers. This horror has to stop.Unfortunately the UK won’t get on board of stopping people from going to hunt these wonderful animals.
I am now asking whomever becomes the Prime Minister of Canada on October 19th to please ban these sorry practices. It shows the lack of civilization of a country to condone these despicable acts of violence against animals. The reports say that Jericho the lion has finally come to terms with the fact that Cecil is never returning. He has quit calling for Cecil and now realizes that he is the king and must take care of the pride.
Humans have nothing to be proud of when they do or condone these things. Do you think decent people would do this? Then it would be no different that someone came and took every third child and killed them, would that work better for people? Then people would be screaming “they are humans”. Big deal, is a human life worth more than an animal, does a human life have more value than an animal? Does an animal not have feelings, family, hurt, bleed or feel grief? No, they have all those things and I would say they feel grief more profound than most people do.
Please, let’s not allow Cecil and all the other animals that have been slaughtered for no reason than, human greed and heartlessness to be in vain. Because they are not humans does not mean they have no purpose and should not be allowed to live their lives as we live ours. We are no better than animals are but we are certainly worse when we hunt them to near or extinction. People race around declaring we are higher beings than them, then we should try to act like it, as it stands at this moment amoeba’s are higher than us. They have proven that they have survived over millions of years without a brain. We are supposed to have brains, please let’s use them and use them for good, not to show our cruelty to animals.
I hope Cecil’s babies survive with his genes and some of his sons have his large, noble stature and marvelous mane. It would be a shame if his superior genes died with him. We should be concentrating on maintaining and preserving species not annihilating them. This activity does not show courage, progressiveness, sanity, or general consideration for other species. It demonstrates; cruelty, stupidity, jealousy, and unfeeling. We should all be ashamed of ourselves. As these poor animals do not speak our language or one that these morons can understand, I have taken it upon myself to speak in their stead, to try to get justice for them.
